The charges relate to alleged offences at Southend Hospital, in Westcliff.
Twinkle Parappully, 46, of Silverdale Avenue, Westcliff, is charged with three offences under the Sexual Offences Act 2003:
Sexual assault on a female and assault on a female by penetration – both on 20 September this year.
Sexual assault on a male – on 23 October 2024.
He appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Monday 22 September, where he was granted bail with a number of stringent conditions attached, including the following:
Not to enter Southend Hospital and not to apply for or seek employment in any healthcare or education establishment.
He is next due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on 24 October.
Parappully was working as a healthcare assistant at the hospital during the period of alleged offending.
A healthcare assistant accused of sexually assaulting two patients has appeared in court.
Twinkle Parappully worked at Southend Hospital in Essex when the alleged offences took place in October 2024 and September 2025.
The 46-year-old, of Silverdale Avenue, Westcliff-on-Sea, was charged with sexually assaulting a woman on two occasions and a man.
He appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Monday and is due to appear again at Basildon Crown Court on 24 October.
Mr Parapully has been banned from entering the hospital while on bail.
