Hamed Mohamodie will appear before a judge in February

Hamed Mohamodie, 28, has been charged with sexual assault of a child. Hamed Mohamodie, 28, of Ashley Road, Hale, appeared at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on January 3.
He was remanded into custody to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court on February 6. Police were earlier alerted to an alleged incident at a property in Hale.
Greater Manchester Police said in a statement: “A man has been charged with sexual assault of a child in Hale. Hamed Mohamodie (21/04/1997), Ashley Road, Hale, Altrincham, WA14 2, was charged with sexual assault of a child under 13 and remanded into custody.
“He appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, January 3, 2026 and was remanded into custody to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court on Friday, February 6, 2026.
“On Thursday, January 1, 2026 at 2.20pm, police were called following reports that a child had been sexually assaulted at a property in Hale.”
