“The jury have seen this case for what it was. Clear, determined and insidious grooming.”
Judge Durham Hall during sentencing of the Asian Grooming Gang Bradford
Basharat Khaliq, 38, of Deanwood Crescent, Allerton, Bradford BD15 9 also known as ‘Bash’, was found guilty of five counts of rape and one count of assault by penetration was severed 20 years for his own personal pleasure. During the trial of the Asian grooming gang in Bradford of which the Basharat was a leading member his previous convictions was disclosed some of the charming skills this sex offender has been recognised for are obstructing a police officer and battery, lets hope the prison officers put a stop to those skills which no doubt he will attempt to use in the 20 years in prison.
