WEST Yorkshire Police has revealed the names of five more men charged with historic sexual abuse in Bradford.
The force released a statement last week outlining that 23 males in total had been charged with various non-recent child sex offences.
This relates to one female teenage victim and the offences are alleged to have occurred across a four year period, between 2007 and 2011.
All those charged will appear, or already have appeared, at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court throughout September.
The five new names are as follows:
- Aftab Ahmed, 33, of Bradford is charged with multiple rapes
- Yousaf Bhatti, 36, of Bradford is charged with rape and arrange/facilitate the prostitution of a child aged 13-17
- Anwar Aziz, 32, of Bradford is charged with rape and arrange/facilitate the prostitution of a child aged 13-17
- Shahinul Haq, 35, of Bradford is charged with rape and arrange/facilitate the prostitution of a child aged 13-17
- Ashfaq Ahmed, 34, of Halifax is charged with multiple rapes and arrange/facilitate the prostitution of a child aged 13-17
They are all set to appear at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Five of the 23 men have been in court to face their charges so far, all last Wednesday.
These are:
- Jameel Ahmed, 32, of Bradford, charged with rape and conspiracy to rape
- Brian Davis, 53, of Bradford, charged with rape and conspiracy to rape
- Mohammed Nadeem Ali, 38, of Bradford, charged with multiple rapes
- Muhammad Yasir, 36, of Bradford, charged with rape
- Khalid Parvez, 63, of Leeds, charged with arranging and facilitating the prostitution of a child aged 13 – 17
West Yorkshire Police will issue a court note of the final 13 men in advance of all their appearances.

Police have charged 24 men with rape, prostitution and sexual offences against one teenage girl as they probe allegations of historic grooming.
West Yorkshire Police says its investigation into non-recent child sex offences in the city has led to court appearances for dozens of men this month.
The force says all men have been charged with offences relating to one girl and are alleged to have taken place in the Bradford area between 2007 and 2011.
Men in the case have been charged with offences including rape of a child aged 13-15, conspiracy to rape, false imprisonment and arranging and facilitating the prostitution of a child aged 13-17.
Five men appeared at Bradford Magistrates Court on September 14, five more on September 21, six on September 23 and seven on September 30.
Last week Omar Taj, 35, became the 24th person to appear in the same court on Friday, October 7, after being charged with the rape of a child aged 13-15.

The men, who are all from Bradford unless stated otherwise, are as follows:

- Asif Budhia 39, is charged with multiple rapes
- Shazad Khadam 38, is charged with multiple rapes
- Ibrahim Ali, 35, is charged with engaging in sexual activity with a girl aged 13 – 15 years
- Pasquale Massimo, 40 is charged with rape and rape of a child aged 13-15
- Khazer Hussain 41 from Oldham is charged with Conspiracy to rape and false imprisonment
- Syed Shabir 39 of Oldham is charged with Conspiracy to rape and false imprisonment
- Abbas Hussain, 41 is charged with multiple rapes and arranging and facilitating the prostitution of a child aged 13 – 17
- Mussadaq Hussain 37 is charged with rape
- Amjad Hussain 36, of Keighley is charged with multiple rapes and arranging and facilitating the prostitution of a child aged 13-17
- Syed Hassan Basharat 33 of Keighley is charged with multiple rapes
- Omar Taj, 35, is charged with rape of a child aged 13-15
All are due to appear in court again at later dates.
