Rashid Al-Waeli, 31, from Yemen was sentenced to 20 months’ imprisonment in October 2024 for trying to persuade a 14-year-old boy to send naked images of himself. He was staying at Best Westerns Brook Hotel, in Norwich– one of two in the city used by the Home Office as temporary accommodation for migrants – https://www.brookhotel.co.uk/ currently closed to actual British people, when he sent repeated online messages trying to obtain the intimate photos.
Norwich comes under the jurisdiction of Norfolk police and yet no mention of Rashid Al-Waeli can be found online at their site https://www.norfolk.police.uk/search/?q=Rashid+Al-Waeli
It is unknow at this time when Rashid Al-Waeli arrived in the UK but if he’s being put up in a hotel then it’s not been long before he’s committed this sex offence, it’s obvious that he’s a danger to children but won’t be deported back to Yemen by the labour government or a conservative one. We have seen it time and time again that sex offenders’ human rights come way before any of ours.
