A HARLOW man has escaped jail after pleading guilty to downloading images of child abuse.
Muhammed Saim Shahzad, aged 22, of Joyners Field, Harlow made the plea to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.
On or before August 24th, 2023 at Harlow made indecent photographs, namely FOUR still images and SIX videos within Category A, of a child.
On or before August 24th, 2023 at Harlow made indecent photographs namely 12 Still Images and 4 videos within Category B, of a child
On or before August 24th, 2023 at Harlow made indecent photographs namely 4 still images within Category C, of a child
Shahzad was given a six month prison sentence, suspended for eighteen months.

The defendant is required to register with the police for: 10 Years.
Sexual harm prevention order – This order was made: on conviction. This order lasts until: 01/10/2029,
Prohibitions: 1. Possessing any computer or device capable of accessing the internet unless: –
i. He has notified the police monitoring team within 3 days of the acquisition of any
such device;
ii. It has the capacity to retain and display the history of internet use.
iii. He makes the device immediately available on request for inspection by a Police
officer, or police staff employee, including the PIN or password for the device.
iv. It has been installed with monitoring software that is approved and monitored by
the police force in the area in which he resides, unless such software is
unavailable, and this is confirmed in writing by the officers responsible for
monitoring him.
This prohibition shall not apply to a computer at his place of work (other than your home address and where the device is owned and administrated by his employer),
